TRANSPARENCYIf it's free, are you the product?
No. Here, in plain language, is how Plumm is funded, what we collect, what we'll never collect, and what's coming next.
Model: premium, never your data
Plumm will be funded by an optional premium plan. Not by ads, not by data resale.
Transparent algorithm
The prediction algorithm is publicly documented (CLAUDE.md, repo).
Public roadmap
We say what we're building. You can follow along.
How Plumm makes (and will make) money
As of today, Plumm is free. No revenue, no advertising, no resale.
A future Plumm+ optional paid plan is in the works. It will unlock advanced features without ever locking the ones that are already free. Transparent pricing displayed in-app. Payment through the App Store or Google Play. No subscription traps.
That's our only business model. No ads, no « wellness brand » partnerships, no data resale — ever.
What we will never do
- Sell, rent, or share your data to an advertiser, insurer, employer, or government. No exception.
- Put targeted advertising in the app.
- Embed an analytics tracker (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.).
- Guilt-trip you or use dark patterns to make you pay.
- Hide our subprocessors or their location.
What we collect (and don't)
We do NOT collect: • Your cycle data (periods, symptoms, contraception, pregnancy) — it stays on your phone • Your email, name, phone number • Your IP address, cookies, advertising identifier • Any app usage metric
We collect only (and only if you write to us via the messaging): • The content of your messages • An anonymous device identifier • A notification token
Full details on the Security page.
Our roadmap
What we're preparing, in order of priority: • App Store / Google Play release — the NEW GAME company has just been formed; we're waiting on the Apple Developer account, then we ship. • PIN / Face ID security — code is ready, will be embedded in the first production build. • End-to-end encrypted, opt-in cloud backup — so you don't lose your data when you change phones. • Plumm+ premium — optional paid plan (date TBD).
We update this roadmap as we go.
Our code, our algorithm
Plumm's prediction algorithm is documented in detail on our Science page and in the project's public documentation. You can ask us for clarifications at hello@plumm-app.com — we reply.
It's the minimum when you ask people to trust you with their health data.
